The UAE’s national airline, Etihad, has announced a couple of additional destinations. It is going to add seasonal flights to Krakow in Poland and Salalah in Oman in the summer of 2026, further lengthening the list of destinations it connects to across the globe.

These upcoming routes offer guests plenty of opportunities to explore unique cities in both Europe and the Middle East. Etihad’s footprint is expanding rapidly and more people are getting seamless access to Abu Dhabi, the UAE’s capital.

This Emirate is famous for its cultural scene. You can find a number of historical landmarks, including religious sites and museums. The food scene is also splendid, catering to different tastes. You can also find a lot of luxurious hotels and scenic places.

Etihad connects Abu Dhabi to Krakow and Salalah

Etihad has already celebrated inaugural flights to many destinations this year and the airline continues to add routes that matter to its guests. Etihad is soon connecting to a UNESCO-listed heritage in Poland and green landscapes in Oman during the Khareef season.

Launching June 15, 2026, the inaugural flight from Abu Dhabi to Krakow represents Etihad’s second destination in Poland. This seasonal flight is going to operate until September 5. You can explore Renaissance palaces and a pretty interesting cafe culture.

You can also use the Polish destination as a springboard to access the stunning Tatra Mountains. The other destination Etihad is going to connect to is Salalah in Oman. The flights are set to launch on May 21, 2026, and shall continue to run until September 15.

During the Khareef monsoon, the region turns an emerald green, featuring mist-shrouded mountains and cool coastal air. Salalah is an ideal escape for families across the Gulf region and a hidden gem for tourists from different parts of the globe.

What makes you a good journalist? Hopefully, I can find a convincing answer to it someday. From Btech in Civil Engineering to pursuing Masters in Journalism and Mass Communication, it has been quite a journey. I have a keen interest in investigative journalism and exploring the latest developments in the Gulf region. I care about ethical reporting and bringing something new to the table. Overall, if not a writer, I believe I would have been a globetrotter or a pet-sitter.
