ToggleThe UAE’s national airline, Etihad, has announced a couple of additional destinations. It is going to add seasonal flights to Krakow in Poland and Salalah in Oman in the summer of 2026, further lengthening the list of destinations it connects to across the globe.
These upcoming routes offer guests plenty of opportunities to explore unique cities in both Europe and the Middle East. Etihad’s footprint is expanding rapidly and more people are getting seamless access to Abu Dhabi, the UAE’s capital.

Etihad connects Abu Dhabi to Krakow and Salalah
Etihad has already celebrated inaugural flights to many destinations this year and the airline continues to add routes that matter to its guests. Etihad is soon connecting to a UNESCO-listed heritage in Poland and green landscapes in Oman during the Khareef season.
Launching June 15, 2026, the inaugural flight from Abu Dhabi to Krakow represents Etihad’s second destination in Poland. This seasonal flight is going to operate until September 5. You can explore Renaissance palaces and a pretty interesting cafe culture.
You can also use the Polish destination as a springboard to access the stunning Tatra Mountains. The other destination Etihad is going to connect to is Salalah in Oman. The flights are set to launch on May 21, 2026, and shall continue to run until September 15.
During the Khareef monsoon, the region turns an emerald green, featuring mist-shrouded mountains and cool coastal air. Salalah is an ideal escape for families across the Gulf region and a hidden gem for tourists from different parts of the globe.

Etihad seasonal summer flights and Etihad Guest Challenge
In a recent update, Etihad has announced its 2025 seasonal summer routes, offering greater connections to major destinations across the Middle East and Europe. From July 17, the airline is launching flights to a key destination in Egypt.
Etihad is also resuming its 5 seasonal routes to some of the best summer hotspots in Europe, offering its passengers access to the beautiful destinations of Nice in France, Malaga in Spain, Mykonos and Santorini in Greece, and Antalya in Turkey.
The UAE’s national carrier has also launched The Extraordinary Challenge. It is a one-of-a-kind competition offering Etihad Guest members up to 5 million miles – equating to more than 500 Economy flights or more than 70 trips in Business Class.
This challenge is open to both existing and fresh Etihad Guest members. To complete the challenge, participants need to fly to each of Etihad’s 15 year-round destinations launching in 2025 by May 25, 2026. You can find more details in our article.
