The intercity bus route E308 seamlessly connects Stadium Bus Station in Dubai to Al Jubail Bus Station in Sharjah. Fares for a single trip cost around Dh12 for buses on Dubai to Sharjah route. Bus timings can be from early in the morning at 4 am to 1 am on the next day.

Just like I had mentioned earlier, it is possible to travel from Dubai to Sharjah by ferry. The main benefit of using this mode is the ease of traffic. This public transport option has been in operation since 2023, offering a great journey of just 35 minutes.

Ticket prices can be Dh15 per person for regular tickets and Dh25 per person for Gold Class Cabin. Children under the age of 5 do not need to pay a dirham to use the ferry. These ferries run on all days, seamlessly connecting Dubai to Sharjah.

You can take the Dubai to Sharjah ferry from Al Ghubaiba Marine Station – located in the Al Fahidi Historical Neighbourhood and just a short distance from Al Ghubaiba Metro Station on the Green Line. You can use Google Maps for more details.

On the Sharjah side, Aquarium Marine Station is located next to Sharjah Aquarium in the Al Majaz 3 area. There are public buses running to the station. In order to save time, it is recommended to book your ticket through rtamarine.ae.
