Emirates officially starts flights from Dubai to Da Nang and Siem Reap

Earlier this month, Emirates - the largest international airline - announced the launch of flights from Dubai to Da Nang and Siem Reap via Bangkok in Thailand.

Just a short time back, Emirates introduced three more incredible destinations to its list: Shenzhen in Mainland China, Da Nang in Vietnam and Siem Reap in Cambodia. Flights from Dubai to Shenzhen are expected to start from July 1, 2025.

Earlier this month, Emirates – the largest international airline – announced the official launch of flights from Dubai to Da Nang and Siem Reap via Bangkok in Thailand. This launch has expanded the airline’s East Asia footprint to 23 points.

The inaugural flight to Da Nang started on June 2 and Siem Reap noted the beginning of the operation from Dubai on June 3. Both these routes are operated by Emirates’ Boeing 777-300ER, offering the airline’s signature products and hospitality.

Emirates expanding presence in Southeast Asia

Nabil Sultan, Emirates Executive VP, Passenger Sales and Country Management, said that the launch of flights from Dubai to Da Nang and Siem Reap marks a significant milestone in bolstering the airline’s presence in Southeast Asia.

Through this launch, passengers from across the globe can experience seamless connection across three distinct destinations, including Dubai, Bangkok and Da Nang or Siem Reap – all using just a single ticket.

Da Nang is the third destination in Vietnam to be connected to Dubai by Emirates. The other 2 on the list are Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. Da Nang is going to be useful for the transportation of passengers and important cargo such as electronics and perishables.

The Dubai – Bangkok – Siem Reap route, on the other hand, complements Emirate’s existing daily flight to Phnom Penh via Singapore. The recent flight has significantly expanded the airline’s presence in the beautiful country of Cambodia.

Emirates flights to and from Dubai to Da Nang and Siem Reap

The recent launch of flights from Dubai to Da Nang in Vietnam and Siem Reap in Cambodia is also important as the routes are strategically timed to cater to passengers from key European markets and is expected to open more opportunities for cultural exchange.

EK370 operates on Dubai to Da Nang route, taking off from Dubai International at 6:25 pm and landing in Bangkok at 8:10 pm. The flight concludes its journey in Da Nang at 9:50 pm, ensuring seamless connection from Dubai to Vietnam.

The return flight from Da Nang to Dubai is operated on Emirates EK371. The flight departs Da Nang at 11:30 pm and lands in Dubai International – one of the busiest airports globally – at 6:50 am. The connecting period in Bangkok is from 1:10 am to 3:40 am.

For Dubai to Siem Reap route, EK370 takes off at 9 am from Dubai, reaching Bangkok at 6:25 pm. The flight resumes its journey at 8:10 pm and lands in Cambodia at 9:30 pm. The return journey starts at 11:50 pm and ends at 6:50 pm in Dubai.
