Filipinos adore the UAE and there is no denying that. Thousands of Philippine passport holders are UAE residents and many more travel to the Gulf state each year on tourism and business purposes. But from 25 June 2026, things have got much better, as some Filipinos are going to become eligible for the UAE Visa-on-Arrival policy. They can enter the UAE much more easily, enjoy a smoother and shorter documentation procedure, and explore one of the most dynamic destinations in the Middle East more easily.
Starting Thursday, some Philippine passport holders are able to apply for the coveted UAE Visa-on-Arrival for AED 100. This duration can again be extended for additional charges. They can start from the UAE’s sizzling summer season, a period that often sees temperatures soar beyond 40 degrees Celsius but budget experiences stay in focus. Please keep in mind that this update is not applicable to all Filipinos and only to certain people holding valid visas, residence permits or green cards issued by some countries.
UAE Visa-on-Arrival for Filipinos: Eligibility & Fees
From 25 June 2026, Filipinos holding valid visa, residence permit, or green card issued by the United States, European Union member states, Australia, Japan, Singapore, South Korea, Canada and New Zealand are eligible for the UAE Visa-on-Arrival at ease. This update is going to be really beneficial for the dozens of Philippine passport holders making trips to the Gulf state each year, either to meet their families here, explore the destination and its tourism appeal, or for business purposes.
Eligible Filipinos have a couple of options:
- 14 days at AED 100 per person (extendable for another 14 days at a fee of AED 25)
- Non-extendable 60-day stay for AED 250
