Japan relaxes visa requirements for UAE nationals

The UAE and Japan are deepening their relationship and the recent relaxation of visa requirements by Japan is an example of that. Since last year, Japanese nationals in possession of valid passports have been able to stay in the UAE for a short term not exceeding 90 days.

Just like the UAE, Japan is also one of the most happening tourist destinations on the planet. From beautiful cherry blossoms and scenic settings of Hokkaido to temples and hot springs spread across the country, Japan is a paradise for tourists.

Since 2022, UAE nationals holding ordinary passports have been able to stay in Japan for up to 30 days and do not need a visa to do so. The extension up to 90 days from July 1 is going to popularise the UAE-Japan tourism route further.
