SeaWorld in Yas Island– the world’s largest indoor marine life theme park is now home to yet another exciting attraction- the SeaSub. The all-new submersible aquarium Abu Dhabi experience is the theme park’s latest addition that will let guests explore marine life like never before. And by that we mean, you can get up-close and personal with sharks, rays, and other species, without getting wet!
Seasub is well-equipped with a state-of-art vessel which can accommodate four guests at a time, alongside experienced professionals from SeaWorld Abu Dhabi. The SeaSub is ABS +A1 classed, which basically means it’s the real deal when it comes to safety and engineering. The unforgettable experience not only lets you spot a wide range of marine creatures, but also gives you an insight into their world, habitat, mannerisms and behavior, allowing you to understand and appreciate our planet’s aquatic treasures.
During the 45-minute diving experience aboard the Seasub, participants will be taken to breathtaking depths of 20m. As they descend, guests can spot over 68,000 marine creatures including colourful fish, sharks gliding through the water, sting rays and many others darting around in their habitat. The best part- you get to experience all this, without getting wet!
In addition to the SeaSub tour, visitors can experience other outstanding park attractions like SeaDive, which allows them to get up close and personal with underwater wonders, and SeaVenture, which provides a hands-on marine exploration experience. A truly remarkable destination for families and marine enthusiasts alike, the park also offers visitors the chance to engage in unforgettable interactions with beloved marine mammals, such as walruses and penguins.
Who Can Dive?
Seasub is open to all guests aged 8 years and above. If you’re 16, make sure to bring an adult who is at least 18 years old with you for the dive. To get the most out of your visit, make sure to plan ahead because a SeaSub ticket needs to be purchased in conjunction with a standard SeaWorld admission ticket. SeaSub tickets start at AED 1,295, which may be a bit expensive, but you’ll discover that the opportunity to take part in something so amazing is worth every dirham.
