ToggleThe UAE airspace continues to remain partially closed. Tourists from different parts of the globe are still stranded, though the UAE has already ordered hotels to extend the stay of guests troubled by flight disruptions. Some special flights started operating from different UAE airports late yesterday, including by Emirates in Dubai and Etihad in Abu Dhabi. Starting late 3 March until 5 March 2026, India-based SpiceJet is also going to operate a set of Fujairah to India special flights. Here are all the details.
Please keep in mind that these are special flights. The UAE airspace is still partially closed for safety reasons. Therefore, unless you are contacted by your airline itself, please do not leave for any of the airports in the UAE.
There is no reason to panic, though. The UAE is currently seeing no signs of supply chain hiccups, as already highlighted during today’s emergency press conference. There are sufficient goods for residents and tourists. Plus, the UAE is taking care of hotel stays and meal expenses of all stranded tourists. The airspace is going to open up gradually. So far, some key emergency air routes have been established to make sure you get back home soon.
