ToggleMajor airspace closures across the Middle East continue to leave scores of tourists stranded in different countries. The situation in the UAE is no different as far as the airspace issue is concerned. Passenger flights are not expected to be coming in or taking off anytime soon (at least not until late Tuesday).
There is no need to panic, though, as the authorities have put in a considerable amount of effort to keep all tourists in UAE safe, including ordering hotels to extend free stays for guests stuck because of flight disruptions. This ‘people-first’ approach of the UAE is much appreciated.
Nonetheless, in such chaotic situations, there are at least a couple of things you can do to keep your and your loved one’s mental peace secured. First, call your family back home and stay in constant touch. Second, keep a note of all the UAE emergency contact details listed here and keep them handy. You are going to need them for all your queries and emergencies. Starting from the embassies to airlines, here are contact details of all necessary establishments that all tourists currently stuck in the UAE should pay attention to.
