Flamingo Beach is located at a distance of 21 km from RAK airport. You can find ample parking space here. Plus, there are plenty of restaurants right by the beach, lifeguards to ensure safety and facilities to freshen up.
Dubai to Ras al Khaimah: Public Transport
You might be thinking reaching Flamingo Beach is a piece of cake from RAK airport, but my flight is landing at Dubai International (DXB) instead. There is no need to be concerned about this as both Emirates share seamless transportation.
There is a bigger chance of your flight to the UAE landing in Dubai as DXB is one of the busiest airports across the globe. From the airport, you can find plenty of taxi options to Ras al Khaimah. Or else, use ride-hailing platforms like Careem and Uber.
But buses are equally comfortable and more affordable. Ras al Khaimah is located at a distance of 85 km from Dubai airport. You need about one hour and 30 minutes to reach the Emirate. There are frequent buses going from and to Dubai to Ras al Khaimah.
The first bus departs Dubai Union Bus Station at 7:30 am. The last one is at 11:30 pm. This journey can be completed in Dh30. From Ras al Khaimah, the first bus departs for Dubai at 5:30 am and the last one at 9 pm. This journey could cost around Dh27.
