Etihad starts inaugural flights from Abu Dhabi to Hanoi, Tunis, Chiang Mai & Hong Kong

The national airline of the UAE, Etihad, is making headlines for launching four inaugural flights in the last three days. In a landmark feat, Etihad has connected Abu Dhabi to Hanoi, Tunis, Chiang Mai and Hong Kong, supporting inbound tourism.

It has been a key year for Etihad as the airline continues to expand its global footprint and add more seats to and from Abu Dhabi. It has become much easier to explore cultural attractions of Abu Dhabi, in addition to its pristine beaches, luxury resorts and calendar of events. For both business and leisure purposes, Abu Dhabi is the perfect destination all year round.

The inaugural flights from Abu Dhabi to Tunis, Hanoi, Chiang Mai and Hong Kong are also facilitating increased tourism to some of the best tourist destinations across the globe from the UAE and nearby areas. These four routes connect Etihad to more than 85 destinations. You can expect many more incredible routes to be announced in the near future.

In a more interesting update, all four of the aforementioned destinations are part of the Etihad Guest Challenge – a one-of-a-kind competition letting Etihad guest members grab up to 5 million miles in prize. The first member to complete the challenge can get 5 million miles. Those in the second and third positions get 3 million and 1 million Etihad miles, respectively.

Etihad flights from Abu Dhabi to Tunis

From 1 November 2025, the inaugural Etihad Abu Dhabi to Tunis flights took off, connecting the UAE capital to a beautiful place famous for its historical sites and modern amenities. These flights operate on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, supported by strategic timings to ensure people from nearby areas can access the route at ease.

Etihad flights from Abu Dhabi to Hanoi

On 2 November 2025, Etihad launched regular Abu Dhabi to Hanoi flights, making it easier for people in the UAE to access the pristine capital of Vietnam and for people there to reach the Emirati capital at ease. The tourism ties are only going to build up stronger.

Etihad Abu Dhabi to Chiang Mai flights

From 3 November 2025, Etihad Abu Dhabi to Chiang Mai flights took off, connecting the UAE capital to one of the best tourist places in Thailand. People in the Thai territory and nearby areas can also explore the cultural attractions in Abu Dhabi at ease, in addition to its luxury resorts, dining scene, beautiful beaches and more.

Etihad Abu Dhabi to Hong Kong flights

On the same day as the inaugural flight to Chiang Mai, Etihad Abu Dhabi to Hong Kong flights took off, connecting the UAE to one of the best tourist destinations for nightlife. Nonetheless, Abu Dhabi’s nightlife is also Incredibly special and people in Hong Kong and nearby areas can get to experience it at ease.
