Etihad doubles flights to Nairobi as demand soars

Etihad, the UAE’s national airline, is responding to an increase in demand by doubling daily Nairobi flights starting December 15, 2025. This announcement comes less than 12 months since the airline resumed flights to the capital of Kenya.

Etihad is doubling the number of flights as the strength of the route is more prominent. In recent days, the Middle Eastern airline has significantly expanded its options to Africa, adding more destinations and increasing frequencies.

One of the top officials at Etihad noted in a statement that the carrier is encouraged by the early results and is increasing flights to Nairobi and Seychelles. Etihad is also introducing daily 787 services to Johannesburg and Casablanca.
