Abu Dhabi: Etihad Airways adds Peshawar as their new Pakistan destination, strengthening their global airline services further. The flight route to Peshawar from UAE will be launching from 29 September 2025. This new route will depart from Zayed International Airport, Abu Dhabi to Bacha Khan International Airport in Peshawar, adding this popular city in Pakistan as its yet another connecting point.
Etihad Airways already have 3 locations in Pakistan – Karachi, Islamabad and Lahore, which is now added by Peshawar as the fourth nonstop getaway in Pakistan. Peshawar is a connecting city nestled at the north – west point of Pakistan, surrounded by mountains and paves way through the base of the valley for transportation inside the country, suitable for business and leisure travelers and explorers.
Etihad Flights to Pakistan Details
Peshawar is among a good lineup of new routes announced by Etihad Airways in 2025, the sixteenth new destination of the year. The route from Abu Dhabi to Peshawar will commence from 29 September 2025 for five days a week, and will be scheduled for daily and regular flights from 22 November 2025.
Currently Etihad Airways are flying out from Abu Dhabi to Pakistan with a starting price of AED 1005 for Economic Class service. Adding another important destination will definitely increase the scope and frequency of tourists and business trips to and fro UAE and vice versa, strengthening the connectivity between the countries.
In 2025, Etihad Airways has also increased frequencies to prominent European Cities like Paris, Milan, Manchester, Zurich, Frankfurt and Madrid while announcing its new routes to Prague, Warsaw, Tunis, Algiers and Atlanta.
Adding to this newly unveiled route, the Chief Executive Officer of Etihad Airways, Antonoaldo Neves shared that, “We are thrilled to further expand our presence in Pakistan with the launch of our daily service between Abu Dhabi and Peshawar. This new route reflects our commitment to providing vital connectivity for travelers between Pakistan and the Gulf, Africa, Europe, and North America. In addition to new flights to Peshawar, we are boosting our frequency to Karachi to 17 flights a week from 1 October.”
The Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi stopover programme is scheduled so that travelers can experience the city and its amenities through accommodation discounts and offers at premium hotels in case of layovers.
