This 42-kilometre line also passes through other significant areas of Dubai, such as Meydan, Al Barsha South, Jumeirah Village Triangle and Dubai Production City. Finally, you can see the Gold Line ending at Jumeirah Golf Estates and there is a link to Etihad Rail there. Furthermore, the map also points to a future Etihad Rail interchange in Meydan – meaning that there is likely to be a second integration point on this route. Isn’t it incredible?
From the old part of Dubai to the modern areas, key tech hubs, tourist spots and residential communities, Dubai Metro Gold Line is going to bring a number of significant parts of Dubai closer. This is going to bring a lot of benefits for both residents and tourists.

Dubai is famous for being on track. The upcoming Dubai Metro Gold Line is going to be completed by 9 September 2032. Stretching for 42 kilometres and passing through 15 key areas of Dubai, this line is not one of the costliest construction projects out there for any random reason. Once complete, both residents and tourists alike can reap the benefits of this metro line and commute to their offices or explore Dubai like a pro.
Dubai is not asleep. It is planning and executing. If someone told you that Dubai’s tourism appeal has dissipated, please ask them to think again. Dubai is firm in its effort to maintain its position as one of the best cities to live in. Before the Gold Line attains completion, the Dubai Metro Blue Line is expected to be completed by 2029. Much before that, Etihad Rail passenger train is going to start operating across the UAE by this year.
