Dubai Mall: Getting Here
Dubai Mall is one of the most accessible tourist attractions in Dubai. It is recommended to use public transport to avoid the need for parking. But if you are driving to the location, there are plenty of parking spaces too. You can get more details on it later in the article.
1. By Metro
The nearest metro station to Dubai Mall is the Burj Khalifa/Dubai Mall station – just a short distance from the mall by using the Metro Link Bridge. This bridge is fully temperature controlled and its opening hours are connected to the mall’s timings.
2. By Bus
There are a couple of buses connecting to Dubai Mall once in 16 minutes: route 27 from the Deira Gold Souq station and route 29 from Ghubaiba Bus station. These buses arrive and depart from the tourist drop-off area located in front of Grand Drive Entrance.
3. By Taxi or Ride-hailing Companies
There are multiple ride-hailing platforms operating in Dubai, such as Careem and Uber. You can also find taxis to Dubai Mall from different parts of the city and beyond. Install the appropriate apps on your smartphones and make your journey as seamless as possible.
4. By Car
If you are coming from the centre of Dubai, take the first interchange and proceed through Financial Centre Road. The approach road to Dubai Mall is on the right-hand side. From Abu Dhabi, take the exit to Financial Centre Road from the first interchange.

The paid parking system at Dubai Mall ensures a hassle-free experience for all guests. It is not just about parking, it is about ensuring a seamless and improved shopping experience. Spend less time parking and more time enjoying.
This system also features automatic fee deductions from your Salik account. The first 4 hours of parking from Monday to Thursday and the first 6 hours from Friday to Sunday are complimentary. Let’s understand the fees after the complimentary period.

Dubai Mall Parking: Terms and Conditions
- You need to have an activated Salik on your vehicle to use parking facilities at Dubai Mall.
- You do not need to carry cash or money as the applicable parking fees shall automatically be deducted from the prepaid Salik account as per the rules.
- You must make sure that your prepaid Salik account has sufficient balance in it to cover the applicable parking fees at Dubai Mall.
- Defaulters could face fines, blacklisting and/or legal action.

Dubai Mall Parking: Frequently Asked Questions
Is there a grace period for parking at Dubai Mall?
The first 4 hours of parking at Dubai Mall from Monday to Thursday are complimentary. It means you don’t need to pay a penny. From Friday to Sunday, the first 6 hours remain free. The fee per each extra hour increases progressively.
Do all parking zones at Dubai mall have same fees?
The applicable charges are currently unified across all paid zones, namely Grand, Cinema and Fashion Parkings. Zabeel and Fountain Views parkings remain complimentary.
My account doesn’t have enough balance. Can I still pass my vehicle?
Your Salik account shall reflect a pending parking transaction. The amount is going to be deducted from your balance as you recharge.
Do parking fees apply on vehicles carrying international plates or owned by tourists?
Yes. To use the paid parking facilities at Dubai Mall, you need to have an activated Salik tag or Salik account.
Does valet parking also require Salik registration?
Paid parking does not apply to valet parking.
Does Dubai Mall have Salik tag sales/support outlets?
You can purchase Salik tag on salik.ae, or through Careem Quick, or at any of the petrol stations across the UAE.
