1. Sonnets and Sunsets
Inspired by Sir David Tang’s affinity for literature and classical arts, China Tang Dubai at The Lana Promenade, Dorchester Collection, has just introduced Sonnets and Sunsets – a beautiful golden hour ritual from Monday to Friday from 4 pm to 7 pm.
Be part of a curated experience for a couple of hours. You can choose from a bottle of the crisp Riff Pinot Grigio 2023 or the bold Vinuva Primitivo 2023. There is also a delicately paired sharing platter and each dish is no less than a masterpiece.
Let the sun set. You can find printed cards featuring sonnets on each table – to be taken back home as a memento. You can find sonnets by Shakespeare and Al-Mutannabi, one of the greatest poets in the regional language. Experience all of this for Dh198 per set.
2. The Grand Tier Brunch
The Grand Tier Brunch is launching on July 19 at China Tang Dubai at The Lana Promenade, Dorchester Collection. This experience finds inspiration from Sir David Tang’s flamboyant dinner parties, combining culinary storytelling and tableside theatrics.
Each Saturday from 1 pm to 5 pm, enjoy a magical four-course sharing brunch for three hours. Each delicacy has a touch of theatrical flair. Drinks are as sophisticated as the experience. People seeking to take things a step further can indulge in a star performance, too.

3. Club Canard
China Tang Dubai’s upstairs Lounge has transformed. Each Wednesday from 6 pm to 11 pm, experience Club Canard – a dreamy tribute to the 1930s speakeasies that once defined London Mayfair’s golden age of nightlife.
Enjoy sultry jazz nights, a bottle of Ruinart Brut NV and an “open flight” of unlimited, freshly plated duck pancakes, made to order from the iconic live carving duck trolley. Club Canard is priced at Dh598 per person.
