Arabian Travel Market 2025 sees record 55,000+ visitors, 16% growth

ATM 2025 Sets New Benchmarks with Record Attendance, Global Exhibitor Growth, and a Strong Focus on Innovation and Connectivity in Tourism

Press Release: With a record-breaking attendance of more than 55,000 travel and tourism professionals from 166 countries, the Arabian Travel Market (ATM) 2025 brought down the curtains on 1 May. Running from 28 April to 1 May at the Dubai World Trade Centre, this year saw a whopping 16% increase, in comparison to the previous year. The event served as a global platform for more than 2,800 exhibitors from around the world to showcase the newest developments and trends in the industry.

With the theme “Global Travel: Developing Tomorrow’s Tourism Through Enhanced Connectivity,” this year’s event explored the future of travel and emphasized the significance of industry, community, and cross-border connectivity.

Speaking about the grand success of the event, Danielle Curtis, Exhibition Director ME for Arabian Travel Market, said, “My colleagues at RX Global and I are proud to have welcomed a vibrant and engaged community of travel professionals to ATM 2025. This year’s theme has resonated strongly throughout the show floor, emphasising how collaboration across borders and sectors creates new opportunities for inclusive and resilient tourism growth. The outstanding turnout and record-breaking number of exhibitors are clear indicators of ATM’s crucial role in shaping the future of global tourism and connectivity.”

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and the ruler of Dubai, visited the exhibition, highlighting the importance of the occasion. Furthermore, His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum toured the newest products and innovations on exhibit, and His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum officially opened ATM 2025.

The focus on innovation and technology was one of the most noteworthy features in ATM 2025. With a growth of over 26%, the ATM Travel & Tech section demonstrated ways through which technology increased travel experiences. One of the highlights was the launch of a Start-Up and Innovation Zone, which showcased 21 innovative businesses poised to transform the sector and provided guests with an immersive virtual reality experience.

A remarkable growth was witnessed across all exhibitors including the Middle East- 19%, Asia-20%, Europe -17%, and Africa-21%. Asia stood out as the fastest growing region, with exhibitor participation rising an impressive 20% year-on-year. Improved regional connectivity and closer ties to global markets have been the main drivers of this expansion.

In addition, the hotel segment at ATM 2025, which included all of the major international hotel chains, grew by 12% over the previous year. The ATM Conference witnessed more than 70 sessions and insights from over 200 eminent speakers spread across several stages, including the Global Stage, Future Stage, and the recently added Business Events Stage as part of IBTM@ATM.

Making its official debut this year, IBTM@ATM created a dedicated space for business event professionals. Leading groups like the World Energy Council, the Global Business Travel Association, and the International Congress and Convention Association (ICCA) contributed to this new addition, enhancing the event’s standing as a crucial forum for global business executives.

By demonstrating a dedication to the future of travel and tourism through creative solutions and cross-border cooperation, the ATM 2025 cemented its standing as a crucial event for global tourism and connectivity as it came to an end. The success of this year’s event not only demonstrates the vital role that ATMs play in the sector, but it also offers hope for the future of international travel.
