For the travelers, aspiring students, and tourists planning your trips in April 2025 from UAE to the UK will have to shed an additional 10% cost for their Visa. The hike had been announced for different categories of Visas commencing from 9 April 2025.
Travelers aiming for a 6-month Visa to the UK from the 9 April will have to pay €127 as opposed to the current price of €115. The price also goes up for Visa applications up to two years from €43 to €475.
Similarly a Visa up to 5 Years will be pricing at €848, a hike of €77, while up to a 10 year Visa will be costing €1059, a striking hike of €96 from the current pay.
The better option for residents of the UAE traveling or planning a visit to the UK in the summer is to apply under categories like Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) which now costs €10, will cost around €16 from 9 April, and allows multiple trips and stays up to 6 months on a journey and up to 2 years if not for the passport expiration stumps the stay earlier.
Apart from the shorter waiting on Visa to the ever growing demand for tourism in European Countries, be it the specks of music festivals all throughout the year or the educational opportunities for students and healthcare availability makes the UK, especially London a hub for travelling from UAE and across the world.
For reasons of healthcare, academics and medical treatment, tourists travelling to the UK will have to pay €220 with a hike of €20. Direct transit will also face a hike to €39, a raise of €4. The last major hike in Visa price happened in October 2023 to the current pay. For a study Visa from 6 months to 11 months, the prices has gone up 7% from €200 to €214 as well.
