Demand for trips to the UAE for the upcoming May 2025 holidays among Russians has increased by 25% compared to figures from last year, according to the Association of Your Operators of Russia (ATOR).
There is an increasing number of Russian tourists booking tours to the UAE for the May month – thanks to the strengthening of the ruble currency and approaching long holidays, according to the Russian media.
Prices for tours are 10-15% less than last year. The UAE ranks first in popularity during the May holidays, according to the Russian Express and Space Travel companies. Tour operator FUN &SUN has seen a 106% increase in demand, according to the report.
UAE visa scene for Russian tourists
Citizens of Russia and the UAE, holders of valid passports of any type (valid for a period not less than 6 months) and not holding any intention to have a job, study or live in Russia and the UAE, are relieved from visa requirements.
These people have the permit to enter, stay or transit through the other country on a 90-day visa-free basis. The total period of authorised stay should not exceed 90 days within each period of 180 days. For more details, click on this link.
