The Fuel Price Committee has just announced UAE petrol prices for January 2025. The rates for the upcoming month are exactly the same as December 2024. The latest fuel rates are going to come into effect on January 1, 2025.
Fuel prices are standardised in all of the 7 emirates and the prices are updated on a monthly basis. This change in price comes after a summer and autumn trend that noted June, July, September and October experiencing dips in the cost of UAE fuel.

Since 2015, the UAE has been updating its petrol prices on a monthly basis. Petrol rates in the Gulf state reached an all-time high of Dh4.63 per litre for Super 98 in July 2022. Last year, petrol prices peaked in October and dropped in November, December and January.
2015 noted the liberalisation of petrol prices in the UAE. Local rates and global rates share a close connection. The Fuel Price Committee has been meeting on a monthly basis for the past 8 years to announce updated rates.
