1. Facial recognition technology (facial ID) usage

The UAE Pass application is based on biometric face recognition (facial ID) for user registration. This facilitates the creation of a verified account within a span of less than 5 minutes without having to visit government services centres for verification. Earlier, facial ID registration took 20 minutes, and the registrants were required to visit government services centres to obtain the verification process conducted.

2. Ability to store and share digital documents

UAE Pass possesses the ability to save and trade electronic documents via a digital vault, without a need to display paper-based documents. Visitors can submit your applications for obtaining the electronic versions of your government papers and may use them in a secure way to access service provider services on need. UAE Pass operates the digital vault using a block chain, giving you unprecedented traceability as well as protection.

3. Capacity to digitally sign documents

The UAE Pass incorporates a digital signature functionality. Either you can digitally sign a document after uploading on the app or on the UAE Pass website or opt for virtual document’s signing to close an official deal. Furthermore, if one has sent a signed document your way, the app or the site lets you verify it instantaneously.

4. Login to services with a single mobile–based login

5. Edit your profile details

6. Edit your address records

The UAE Pass app is not only required in order to access government services, but also in order to access services provided by the semi-government and private sector. The app is accessed by the banking, money exchange and telecommunication services.
