Passengers flying in and out of Dubai International Airport (DXB) on May 7 could face a lot of disruption because of the cancellation of multiple flights. The closure of airspaces and airports in India and Pakistan has affected a number of airlines.
The closure of northern Pakistan airspace means multiple significant routes to the country are cancelled for the time being. Similarly, flights to and from Srinagar, Jammu, Leh, Chandigarh, Dharamshala, Jodhpur and other parts of northern India face cancellations.

Just IndiGo direct flight from Chandigarh to Dubai has not been affected.
The Indian airline has emphasized in a statement that it is in the process of cancelling all flights to and from Srinagar, Jammu, Amritsar, Chandigarh, Leh, Dharamshala, Bikaner, Jodhpur, Kishangarh and Rajkot until 5:29 am on May 15.
Therefore, all connecting flights from the aforementioned Indian airports to Dubai International Airport (DXB) are cancelled. But plenty of other airports in the country, such as in the capital Delhi, are operating flights to the UAE destination at regular intervals.
Air India flight status
Cancellation of Air India – India-Dubai flights
Air India has put out a statement on social media that it is cancelling all flights to and from Jammu, Srinagar, Leh, Jodhpur, Amritsar, Chandigarh, Bhuj, Jamnagar and Rajkot till 5:29 am on May 10. This is in accordance to a notification from aviation authorities.
Therefore, all connecting flights from the aforementioned Indian destinations to Dubai International (DXB) remain cancelled at least until 5:29 hours on May 15. Please note that all timings mentioned in this article represent local time only.
