Adventurers Get Ready for Dubai’s NEW Saih Al Salam Scenic Route

Dubai is taking on a grand project aimed at the tourism and adventure lovers of the world called the Saih Al Salam Scenic Route with new facilities, activities and services such as skydiving, hot-air balloon rides and desert driving as well as a grand cycling track.

The Scenic Route Project is aligned with the Dubai 2040 Urban Master Plan, which aims to increase visitor numbers by 600%, targeting over 3 million visitors by 2040.

Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed approves master plan of the project, that will feature 97.86 kilometers of New Cycling Tracks, while the total length of the track will be 156.61 kilometers, 5 tourist stations with a multitude of facilities and activities for residents and tourists. 

Visitors will be able to stay in Glass Dome Lodges with Panoramic Views, allowing for a unique experience amidst nature and open lounges will be available near lakes for a unique experience. Speaking of lakes, visitors can enjoy kayaking, camping and an outdoor cinema experience along the Al Qudra Lakes.

Various art exhibitions and events will be held throughout the year. Tourists can participate in trips to historical sites like Saruq Al-Hadid and Al Marmoom Heritage Village, as well as engage in traditional activities such as horse and camel riding.

A total of 37 projects and initiatives have been approved for the development of Dubai’s countryside over the next five years, with an investment of Dh390 million. These projects are designed to improve services and facilities for residents and visitors.
