RTA Dubai Shared Taxi Service between Dubai and Abu Dhabi with fare prices reduced Up to 75% of travelling cost, this is cheaper taking regular cabs. The New Pilot Taxi-Sharing Service for Dubai to Abu Dhabi Trips announced by RTA (Road and Transport Authority Dubai) on Monday, November 4, enables passengers to share rides between Ibn Battuta Mall in Dubai and Al Wahda Mall in Abu Dhabi.

The Pilot Taxi-Sharing Service Duration is for 6 Months and according to the outcome of this service, in the future, it will be expanded to other locations.
The Trail Service will allow 4 Passengers share a Single Taxi between the Dubai and Abu Dhabi. The fare price for One passenger is AED 66 allowing commuters to share the price instead of paying the full fare individually.
When Two passengers travel together and share the fare, the cost is AED 132. This drops to AED 88 for Three passengers travelling together. Passengers can pay the fare via bank cards or Nol card.
“This initiative aims to reduce travel costs, particularly for frequent commuters between Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Furthermore, both locations are well-connected to public transportation hubs and parking facilities”, said Adel Shakri, Director of Planning and Business Development at the Public Transport Agency of Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority.
