ToggleThe Middle East crisis had caused rampant flight cancellations and delays across the region. The busy Dubai to Doha route also got affected, causing a lot of stress among regional and international passengers. But Qatar Airways soon announced a resumption of its daily Dubai and Sharjah flight operations, and later to Abu Dhabi too. But things are looking better, as starting 5 June 2026, the airline has begun a gradual increase in its daily Dubai to Doha flight operations to five.
In order to meet rising demand and provide greater flexibility to passengers on the Dubai to Doha route, Qatar Airways increased the number of flights on the route from just a couple to three on 5 June 2026. From 15 June, this number is going to rise to four and during the summer season, you can find five flights operating on the route, taking dozens of passengers per day out of Dubai International Airport (DXB) to Hamad International Airport (DOH) and vice-versa. If you are also planning a trip linked to this route, please pay attention.
Qatar Airways continues to strengthen connectivity across the region by gradually increasing flight frequencies between Doha (DOH) and Dubai (DXB) from two to five daily services, starting 5 June 2026.

Yes, it is. On 7 June 2026, the Qatar Civil Aviation Authority (QCAA) confirmed that the information circulating on some social media platforms regarding the closure of the country’s airspace or the suspension of flight operations is inaccurate. The establishment urged all travellers to get their information from official sources only, further clarifying that the current Notice to Airmen (NOTAM) is meant to identify alternative air routes to continue the provision of air navigation services at the highest levels of safety and efficiency. Please refrain from circulating rumours or sharing unconfirmed information.
Today, Qatar Airways is operating flights from Doha to more than 20 destinations in the Middle East. This number is expected to rise further as the airline has an ambitious target of taking its global portfolio to 160+ destinations. If you have just booked a ticket on Qatar Airways Dubai to Doha flights, please ensure the contact details you provided are up-to-date and check your Dubai flight status regularly. Flight schedules are subject to change or cancellation. Therefore, do not panic if you hear a gate change or flight cancellation announcement.
