Go on an exciting journey through possibly futures at Dubai’s captivating Museum of the Future (MOTF) and bring hope and knowledge back to the present. People of all ages are allowed to enter the attraction to see, touch and shape our shared future.
The Museum’s objective is to inspire and empower people to positively shape humanity’s next chapter. The building is an architectural and engineering marvel. It confidently combines the past and the future, applying advanced technology to tradition artforms and that makes it a must visit place when planning to Travel to Dubai.
The building’s form is future: the circular attraction in Dubai represents humanity, the green mound it sits atop represents planet Earth and the void represents the unknown future. MOTF reflects the spirit of courage, optimism and innovation that drives Dubai ahead.
Operating hours:
Every day from 9:30 am to 9 pm
Museum of the Future offering light in dark times
Like the emirate, the Museum of the Future is a place of tolerance, inviting different cultural, philosophical, social and spiritual outlooks. It builds on the visionary culture that has transformed the UAE into one of the most advanced countries in less than 50 years.
Exhibitions, publications, films and public events at the Museum represent how the problems of the present can provide the raw material for a better future. It seeks to provide light in dark times – in an age of anxiety, geopolitical turbulence and economic challenges.
It is immensely important to emphasise here that the attraction is no ordinary museum, with ancient relics behind velvet ropes. It is a gateway to a future world. Each floor is like a stunning and thought-provoking film set from a time 50 years ahead of now.
Dubai Future Foundation
The Museum of the Future is an initiative of the Dubai Future Foundation – formed in 2016 by HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, UAE’s Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai. Risk-taking, agility and foresight are the key attributes driving the Foundation.

What makes you a good journalist? Hopefully, I can find a convincing answer to it someday. From Btech in Civil Engineering to pursuing Masters in Journalism and Mass Communication, it has been quite a journey. I have a keen interest in investigative journalism and exploring the latest developments in the Gulf region.
I care about ethical reporting and bringing something new to the table. Overall, if not a writer, I believe I would have been a globetrotter or a pet-sitter.
