The space attracts a loyal mix of residents, expats, food enthusiasts, and increasingly tourists who have sought it out specifically based on its Michelin recognition and word of mouth. Groups of five or more are asked to notify the restaurant in advance, and reservations are strongly recommended as the restaurant fills up quickly on most evenings, particularly from Wednesday through Sunday. Specific tables cannot be reserved, and bookings held for only 15 minutes after the reservation time.

The menu is built around two defining pillars of Japanese food culture, ramen and izakaya.
