As part of the #DubaiDestination campaign, the ‘Hatta Winter’ Initiative offers an exciting blend of tradition, nature and entertainment showcasing Hatta as a leading winter destination.
The festival takes place over a span of 40 Days from 13 December, 2024, to 22 January, 2025, featuring Five Festivals filled with cultural experiences, entertainment and sports activities, implemented by Brand Dubai.
Hatta Winter Initiative – Five Festivals
This winter you’re in for a treat as each of the FIVE festivals will feature a mix of community, cultural, and entertainment activities, offering unique experiences to people of all ages.
The Hatta Winter Festival, organized by Brand Dubai; Hatta Cultural Nights, presented by Dubai Culture; the Hatta Honey Festival and the Hatta Agricultural Festival, both organized by Dubai Municipality; and Hatta x DSF, organized by DET.
Hatta Winter Festival
The Hatta winter festival has arrived at the Hatta Wadi Hub, immersing you into spirit of the holiday season offering an unforgettable experience for visitors of all ages. Set admits the stunning backdrop of the Hatta Mountains; the Hatta winter festival is a new level of celebration to the iconic Dubai Shopping Festival.
Dates: December 6, 2024 – January 5, 2025
Timing:
4 PM – 10 PM | Weekdays (Sunday – Thursday)
1 PM – 12 AM | Weekends (Friday – Saturday)
Location: Hatta Wadi Hub
Visitors can enjoy a variety of activities, savor delicious local and international cuisine under the mesmerizing lighting installations inspired by the magical light reflections of Hatta. The festival offers a memorable blend of adventure, relaxation, and community connection in the breathtaking Hatta mountains
What to Expect at The Hatta Winter Festival?
The Hatta Winter Festival comes with a bundle of celebrations, that include 120 workshops, 14 activities and 4 community events.
Fireworks (Every Friday & Saturday):
View the night skies of Hatta being lit up in a vibrant prismatic glow at the Hatta Sign, from 8 PM, every Friday and Saturday (December 6 to January 5).
On New Year’s Eve Ring in 2025 with an unforgettable fireworks display at 11:59 PM, illuminating the Hatta mountains in beautiful colors.
Live Music & Performances:
Enjoy holiday special tunes and lively rhythms along with family-friendly fun in bubble shows, ballon pop games, pinata characters and interactive drumming sessions. And with bacdrop of Hajar mountains cozy up by fire pits and enjoy seasonal treats under night sky filled with stars,
Adventurous Activities:
Enjoy mountain biking, trail hiking and rover ride for all ages along with zipping, spear throwing, axe throwing and much more.
Gastronomic Delights:
Savor a variety of cuisines from food trucks at Hatta Wadi Hub with seasonal cafe and sweet treats. Indulge into Arabic Flavors, Italian Favorites and International Cuisine.
How to get There?
From Hatta Bus Station, take Route (H04), “Hop on and Off RTA bus Service” to Hatta’s popular tourist attractions such as (Hatta Wadi Hub, Hatta Hill Park, Hatta Dam, and the Heritage Village).
The bus operates in a circular route that starts and ends at Hatta Bus Station from 7 AM to 9 PM daily at a frequency of 30 minutes at a fare of AED 2 per rider per bus stop.
Community Activities at the Hatta Winter Festival
Part of the Hatta Winter Initiative, The Hatta Winter Festival offer Communities Activities, that include Creatives Walk on December 29 2024, Photographers Walk January 4 2025 plus Fitness and Adventure Activities.
Hatta Winter Festival | Fitness and Adventure Community Activities
- Open-Air Spin Bike Sessions organized by Padel and Fitness Hub 700 featuring modern facilities and advanced fitness equipment in an outdoor setting.
Dates: 4 January 2025 and 11 January 2025.
Time Slots: 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM
- High-Intensity ‘Sport Hit’ Workout Sessions.
Dates: 21 December 2024 and 28 December 2024
Time: 4:00 PM
- Relaxing Yoga Classes at the scenic Hatta Dam, near the iconic Zayed and Rashid mural.
Time: 5:00 PM (following the ‘Sport Hit’ sessions).
Hatta Cultural Nights
Hatta Cultural Nights is a celebration of the Hatta’s unique heritage, natural beaty and cultural richness. This event is organized by Dubai Culture.
Hatta Honey Festival
The Hatta Honey Festival is an exciting event that celebrates nature’s art of beekeeping and rich honey production in the Hatta region. The event is set to take place from December 27 to December 31, 2024. The festival hosts 51 Emirati beekeepers offering visitors an immersive experience in tasting organic honey.
Hatta Agricultural Festival
Join in for the Hatta Agricultural Festival from January 18 to January 22, 2025, that is set to take place at the shores of the serene Leem Lake. This event is quite interesting as it brings together farmers, entrepreneurs, and agricultural enthusiasts in celebration of their local land produce and sustainable farming practices.
Explore 25 booths showcasing the best of Emirati-grown produce and support the Hatta’s very own farmers.
Hatta x DSF
Escape from the hustle and bustle of city life this winter to Hatta! Relax at Hatta Wadi Hub with beautiful scenery, live music, and cosy warm light displays in celebration of Dubai Shopping Festival’s 30th anniversary.

Timing: 4 PM to 10 PM on weekdays | 12 PM to Midnight on weekends
Hatta Winter Initiative launched as part of the #DubaiDestination campaign under the directives and patronage of H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Second Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Media Council. Organized under the supervision of the Supreme Committee to Oversee the Development of Hatta.
