Underrated European destinations get more accessible: flydubai expands flights from Dubai to Romania

One of the fastest-expanding international airlines, flydubai has expanded its flights from Dubai to Romania. The Dubai-based carrier has started flights to the beautiful Iași, one of the most underrated places in Europe.

The flights started operating on September 19. Including Iași and Bucharest, flydubai is currently running flights to a couple of different destinations in Romania. Isn’t it incredible? Let me highlight the importance of this update.

On September 19, flydubai started direct flights from Dubai to Iași in Romania. But the airline has also announced its decision to ramp up flights from Dubai to Bucharest to triple daily flights, bringing the total frequency to 21 flights per 7 days.

Romania is a significant market for flydubai. In recent years, the airline has seen passenger numbers of its Bucharest route increase by notable percentages on an annual basis. Hence, flydubai had to expand its flights from Dubai to Romania.

You can expect the expansion of Dubai to Bucharest flights to three daily to happen from the end of October. Earlier on September 17, flydubai started flights to Moldova – to the beautiful and extremely underrated European destination of Chișinău.

flydubai Dubai to Iași flights: Schedules and Fares

Considered the cultural capital of the country, Iași is one of the best places to see in Romania. You can explore the Palace of Culture, the Metropolitan Cathedral and the magnificent Vasile Alecsandri National Theatre (the oldest theatre in Romania).

The start of flydubai Dubai to Iași flights is also significant as this route and the soon-to-expand one featuring Bucharest are going to make Dubai more accessible for global tourists. You can expect more tourists to start landing at Dubai International (DXB) for sightseeing.

The direct Dubai to Iași flights are operating each Tuesday and Friday from Terminal 2 of DXB, one of the busiest airports globally. Emirates is codesharing on this route, offering passengers more options for connecting through Dubai’s international transport hub.

On Dubai to Iași route, Business Class fares start from Dh8,000 and Economy Class Lite fares start from Dh1,600. On the other route, Business Class fares are from €2,000 and Economy Class Lite fares from €380.
