FIFA Club World Cup 2025: Introduction
The maiden FIFA Club World Cup is happening in the US from June 15. The first match of the tournament shall see Al Ahly going against Inter Miami. German giants Bayern Munich face Auckland City in the second game of the day.
One of the most high-profile matches in the inaugural tournament is scheduled for June 16. Athletico Madrid go against Paris Saint-Germain (PSG). The FIFA Club World Cup is going to be played on a quadrennial basis – it means, once in four years.
This means some of the top football players across the globe are going to face the prospect of off-season tournaments in three out of four years. Featuring 32 teams, the FIFA Club World Cup is backed by the European Club Association.
Europe is represented by some of its biggest clubs, such as PSG, Real Madrid, Manchester United and Bayern Munich. You can also expect to see Kylian Mbappe, Erling Haaland, Vinicius Junior and the other prominent names featuring in the tournament.
