Is Your Favourite Summer Destination on Etihad’s Radar This Year?
Did you think the inaugural Abu Dhabi to Salalah flights are the only summer destinations Etihad is focusing on this year? That is definitely not the case. The UAE’s national carrier has more scenic destinations under its radar, such as the sun-drenched shores of Palma De Mallorca from 12 June 2026 and the spice-scented beaches of Zanzibar from 14 June 2026.
Plus, there is also a set of returning seasonal favourites, such as Santorini, Mykonos, Malaga and Nice. You should not be missing out on these places, as FOMO is quite real. Get your flights booked, check the visa scene and sort it out, pack your bags, and depart from Zayed International (AUH) for one of the most comfortable and memorable trips of your lifetime.
When is the Best Time to Visit Salalah from the UAE?
Though the July to early September period is usually considered the best time to visit Salalah in Oman, the exact season marks depend on your requirements and preferences. For example, if you seek to see Salalah in the monsoon, choose the Khareef season from late June to early September. During this time, the place receives steady, light rainfall. Temperatures reduce and Salalah turns into a green paradise. This time is quite suitable for sightseeing, trekking and experiencing the charm of Salalah Festival.
But some people prefer the October to November period for the post-monsoon transition and others come during December to March. During the former months, you are going to see much less rush than in the peak Khareef season. The rain almost stops completely, the skies clear up, temperatures remain pleasant and the greenery still exists. But the latter period from December to March is ideal for beaches, archaeological exploration, and desert trips, as temperatures remain convenient for outdoor experiences. You are not going to be disappointed.
Etihad has done an incredible job by launching its direct Abu Dhabi to Salalah flights. This route is expected to get a lot of attention from UAE residents and international tourists alike. But because of the anticipated rush during the peak Khareef season in Salalah, get your bookings sorted on etihad.com on time. Do not miss out.
