Emirates is asking its customers to make careful preparations this December as passenger departure numbers throughout the month are significantly higher than in 2023. Emirates issued Advisory for festive season travel as the largest airline in the Middle East is set to see its busiest days for this year.

Last year, more than 75,000 Emirates customers departed Dubai International airport daily. But in 2024, these numbers are as high as 89,000 on some days this month, representing a staggering increase of almost 20%.

Emirates is expecting its busiest days on December 12-15 and December 20-22 just before Christmas. Customer departures are also set to peak on December 27, 28 and 29 ahead of NYE. These busy days could easily see more than 88,000 departures per day.

Emirates passes recommendations to fly better
