The airline will promote the traditional Diwali sweets to customers on flights between Dubai and 9 Indian cities: Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Kochi, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Thiruvananthapuram, Kolkata, and Mumbai.
Premium Economy and Economy passengers are going to be served with motichoor laddu. The dessert consists of fried balls of chickpea flour, sweetened using sugar syrup and flavoured with cardamom and saffron. It is topped with pistachios.
Kaju pista roll will also be served to the First Class and Business Class passengers. The roll will be made of rose-flavoured cashew and pistachio, dried fruits and nuts, and it will have edible silver leaves over them.
Special Food and Drinks for the Emirates Diwali 2025 celebration
You can find a number of family-friendly Diwali specials being offered at the Emirates First and Business Class Lounges between the 18th and 23rd of October. The menu will consist of onion kachoris and paneer potli samosas that will be served with tamarind chutneys and mint chutneys.
Sweet products include mango sandwich, balushahi, kesar rasgullas, and gajar ka halwa.
To enjoy, First Class passengers may try the Spicy Saffron Martini cocktail or the Chai Chat Latte mock-tail. Business Class visitors will be able to drink Elderflower Gin Fizz, made-to-order, or Berry Basil Splash, a mocktail.
Emirates lounge Diwali treats in Cape Town and Johannesburg will also be among the Diwali celebrations in 2025. They will be selling gulab jamun, rice pudding, and mango lassi.
Emirates Bollywood movie playlist and Indian Music Available
The entertainment system also has the capacity to allow its passengers to view 167 Indian films aboard during the flight. They have been chosen with the latest Emirates Bollywood movie playlist, like Laapataa Ladies, Crazzy, Jigra, The Lost Girl and Apurva.
The regional films are offered in 9 languages, namely Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, Marathi, Punjabi, Bhojpuri, Bengali, and Gujarati.
More than 14 Indian television series are also included in the system, including The Traitors India and Love, Life, Lafde hosted by Zakir Khan. The music enthusiasts will have a choice of 40 Indian albums and playlists that they can select to create their own festive atmosphere.

Pista roll, which is used in First and Business Class, is a favourite Indian delicacy on birthdays. It is fudge made out of ground cashew nuts that are rolled and wrapped in edible silver foil.
