The best time to visit is between November and March when Dubai’s weather is at its most pleasant, allowing guests to combine the Butterfly Garden with a visit to the adjacent Dubai Miracle Garden in a single comfortable day out. Weekday mornings offer the fewest crowds, while afternoons tend to bring out the most butterfly activity, and photographers may want to linger longer to capture close-up shots in the natural light that filters through the dome structures. A combo ticket covering both Dubai Butterfly Garden and Dubai Miracle Garden offers savings over buying separately and is the most popular ticket format for first-time visitors.
The garden is wheelchair accessible throughout all domes and facilities, with wide smooth pathways suitable for wheelchairs and strollers, no steps or barriers between domes, and all educational displays positioned at appropriate heights for guests using mobility aids. Multilingual staff, audio guides in multiple languages, and specialised tours for visitors with visual or hearing impairments are available. Guests should not touch butterfly wings, as this shortens their lifespan, and should watch their step carefully as butterflies frequently rest on pathways and leaves.
By metro, take the Red Line to Mall of the Emirates Metro Station, then board RTA Bus 105 which runs directly to the Miracle Garden stop in approximately 23 minutes, from where the Butterfly Garden is a 350-metre walk.
