Arabian Travel Market 2025 plans to bring luxury tourism into focus as global demand rises.

Arabian Travel Market (ATM) is the leading international travel and tourism event in the Middle East for inbound and outbound tourism professionals. For more than three decades, this event has been uniting an international community of travel professionals.

ATM 2025 is expected to host more than 47,000 attendees. Bringing together top-tier hospitality brands, influential industry figures and great travel destinations, the upcoming event is going to highlight the latest trends shaping the high-end travel segment.

GCC catering to tourists seeking high-end experiences

To be held from April 28 to May 1 in Dubai, Arabian Travel Market 2025 plans to bring luxury tourism into focus as global demand rises. Demand for luxury travel and hospitality is expected to rise faster than any other industry, according to McKinsey and Company.

This is mainly because of the rising number of high-income individuals globally and an increasing segment of aspiring luxury travellers allocating large proportions of their income to premium experiences.

The research suggests that luxury tourism and hospitality is set to reach $391 billion by 2028, compared to $239 billion in 2023. Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries are ideally positioned to cater to tourists seeking high-end experiences.

GCC tourists are among the highest spenders globally. In 2024, MasterCard unveiled its Affluent Travel Report at ATM, highlighting the Mena region as the leading market for luxury outbound tourism. The UAE and Saudi Arabia emerged as top source markets.

ATM 2025: Luxury, responsible tourism in focus

Happening next month, Arabian Travel Market 2025 is going to feature some of the top-rated luxury destinations, such as the Maldives, Mauritius and Peru. Many prestigious hospitality brands, such as One & Only and Jumeirah International, are also joining.

Peru is returning to ATM after a decade. The country’s luxury offerings shall be in focus, including glamping in the Ica desert and the Sacred Valley, and luxury train journeys across the Andes, soaking in breathtaking landscapes.

Luxury tourism is transforming in terms of consumer preferences. Simultaneously, hospitality brands are also adapting to meet this demand. Hotels across the globe are implementing eco-friendly projects to support cravings for responsible, high-end travel.
