The ambiance is extremely friendly and laid back and appeals to couples, friends, Japanese nationals, and curious foodies alike, with the staff known to be highly attentive and very knowledgeable about the menu items.
As far as the menu goes, it is an extensive list of everything that one can get from a Japanese izakaya and includes the dishes such as Japanese tapas, yakitori, tempura, sushi, sashimi, ramen, katsu sando, and the specialty of the house, Wagyu shabu shabu hotpot buffet which lets you cook your high quality beef in a bubbling broth right at the table in a traditional Japanese manner. The other specialty of the place is Wagyu BBQ.
High-quality ingredients are imported directly from Japan to maintain authenticity across every dish, and the kitchen handles both traditional preparations and slightly more contemporary Japanese comfort dishes with equal confidence.
