The UAE National Day 2025 celebrations began with UAE Flag Day on November 3rd and are going to continue till Eid Al Etihad, December 2nd. The main festivities start from November 14th with celebrations at the Al Fahidi Village and continue throughout the city at iconic landmarks, including the Etihad Museum and the Dubai Frame.
There is a range of activities that can be experienced by a visitor; there are traditional Emirati folk shows at large shopping centres, light art festivals of the latest technologies, and a great experience of sports activities and events in Dubai of interest to the family in Global Village and Dubai Parks and Resorts. The festivities end on 2nd December in an event in JBR, Bluewaters, Souk Al Seef and various shopping malls with performances of traditional music.

What is the UAE National Day & Why is it Celebrated?
UAE National Day 2025, also referred to as Eid Al Etihad, marks the day when the seven emirates officially became the United Arab Emirates on 2nd December 1971. It was a historic event as all seven Emirates united under the banner of one nation to form the successful federation we know today as the UAE.
The day honours the vision of the founding leaders, Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum, who bonded the emirates through a dream of development, prosperity and peace.
