The largest international airline, Emirates is planning to restart daily flights to Beirut in Lebanon and Baghdad in Iraq from 1 February 2025. Flights in the region had been considerably disrupted since the end of 2024.
Emirates has finally reached a position to resume operations to Beirut and Baghdad. Daily flights to Lebanon’s Rafic al-Hariri International airport is expected to start again from Dubai at the beginning of next month.
For Baghdad International airport, the resumption if flights is also going to be a gamechanger, adding more choice, increased comfort and enhanced link. Emirates is currently offering its exceptional hospitality to more than 140 destinations globally.
In a handful of months, Emirates is also planning to scale up its operations and layer on a second daily flight option to Beirut. Both the layers are going to be catered by a Boeing 777-300 ER aircraft in three classes.

EK954 departs Beirut at 1530 hrs and reaches Dubai at 2120 hrs.
From April 1,
EK957 departs Dubai at 0730 hrs and reaches Beirut at 1030 hrs.
EK958 departs Beirut at 1205 hrs and reaches Dubai at 1655 hrs.

From February 1,
On Sunday, Monday and Wednesday
EK941 departs Dubai at 0805 hrs and reaches Baghdad at 0950 hrs.
EK942 departs Baghdad at 1125 hrs and reaches Dubai at 1435 hrs.
On Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday
EK943 departs Dubai at 1300 hrs and reaches Baghdad at 1425 hrs.
EK944 departs Baghdad at 1555 hrs and reaches Dubai at 1910 hrs.
