Dubai Parks and Resorts is one of the Middle East’s largest integrated entertainment destination, sprawled across 25 million square feet along Sheikh Zayed Road, approximately 25 minutes from Dubai Marina and 20 minutes from Maktoum International Airport. Three world-class theme parks, a dedicated water park, one indoor playworld, a themed retail and dining district, and four hotels are all brought together under one vast address, giving families, thrill-seekers, and little ones an entire world to explore without stepping off the resort. A Google rating of 4.5 out of 5 and a TripAdvisor score of 4.2 out of 5 reflect the destination’s enduring popularity among residents and tourists alike.
Six distinct parks make up the resort’s entertainment offering. MOTIONGATE Dubai, the region’s only Hollywood-inspired theme park, houses four major film studio zones , DreamWorks Animation, Columbia Pictures, Lionsgate, and the newly added Stars Universe, with over 40 rides including the high-octane John Wick: Open Contract 4D flying coaster. Real Madrid World, the world’s very first football-themed park, brings four action-packed zones and 15 rides to life, including the Stars Flyers and the immersive Hala Madrid experience. LEGOLAND Dubai is built exclusively for children aged 2 to 12, with six themed lands and rides like Dragon’s Apprentice, while LEGOLAND Water Park next door keeps the same age group entertained with splashing slides, Joker Soaker, and Twin Chasers. Neon Galaxy, a space-themed indoor playworld, caters to both toddlers and teens through its Little Astronauts zone and the multi-level Astro Arena, and Riverland Dubai ties the entire resort together as a free-to-enter waterfront district with over 50 dining, retail, and entertainment options.
Four accommodation options are maintained on the property. Lapita Hotel, a Polynesian-themed resort, offers luxurious spa facilities steps from the parks, while LEGOLAND Hotel, Rove at the Park, and the brand-new T-REX Glamping experience, where oversized tents surrounded by life-size dinosaurs, a Dinosaur Footprint Pool, and nightly BBQ grills await, round out the staying options. Over 50 restaurants and 20 shops are spread across the resort, and Annual Passes are available for unlimited year-round access with added discounts on dining and merchandise.
The Dubai Parks and Resorts is currently closed as a precautionary measure in line with official UAE guidance, effective from March 2026. No confirmed reopening date has been mentioned yet.
