Do UAE Residents Need a Visa for the Philippines?
It comes down to your passport. Your UAE residence visa does not replace the need for a Philippines visa, but it can strengthen your application if you do need one.
- UAE nationals (Emirati passport holders) can enter the Philippines visa-free for up to 30 days. No application. No fee. Just fly in with a valid passport and a return ticket.
- Over 150 nationalities are visa-free for stays of up to 30 days under Executive Order 408. This includes citizens of the UK, US, Canada, Australia, most EU countries, Japan, South Korea, Brazil, and many others. - Indian passport holders get a special deal. Indian nationals can enter the Philippines visa-free for a non-extendable stay of up to 14 days for tourism or business, as long as they hold a passport valid for 6 months, a confirmed hotel booking, proof of funds, and a return ticket.
