ToggleEmirates, one of the largest international airlines, has made a significant announcement. Starting July 18, 2025, Emirates plans to enable its Premium Economy class on flights to and from Dubai to Kolkata in the eastern part of India.
This comes after a successful rollout in Mumbai, Bengaluru and Ahmedabad. Passengers on the Dubai – Kolkata route can book Premium Economy seats on flight EK 573 and flight EK 572. Tickets can be booked immediately for trips starting from July 18.

The flight timings are according to local time zones. You can start booking Premium Economy seats on Emirates EK 572 and EK 573 directly on the official platform, on the Emirates app, Emirates Retail stores, Emirates contact centre or through travel agents.
Emirates Dubai to Kolkata route gets a major upgrade
Emirates has finally introduced its highly acclaimed Premium Economy experience to Kolkata. This marks another significant milestone in the airline’s commitment to the Indian market. The response to the other three Indian destinations has been incredible.

Emirates is operating 11 flights from Kolkata to Dubai in 7 days. Besides the aforementioned EK 572 and EK 573, featuring the Premium Economy seats and operating four times, the airline is also operating EK 570 and EK 571 on all days on the Dubai-Kolkata route.
